Congratulations to our Human Resources Manager, Tim Beckley, on an outstanding 40-year-long career with South Coast Lumber and Pacific Wood Laminates!

Tim has taken on numerous roles for both sides of the company. From pulling planer chain before significant automation to managing the planer department, traveling into sales, spearheading marketing efforts, pioneering the addition of LVL into our product mix, and directing human resources for over 500 employees. One of the most impressive attributes we will miss dearly is his ability to remember the names of all employees along with their spouses and kids.

Tim has had an incredible impact in all areas of the company, internal and external, building lasting relationships with employees, colleagues, and community members through his genuine spirit and down-to-earth personality. As a major company representative and member of the founding family’s 3rd generation, Tim has fostered vital connections, driven immense growth, and exemplified the company’s values throughout all interactions.

We wish Tim nothing but the best in retirement, where he plans on completing many projects that he has dreamed of alongside his incredible wife, Tamara. May all your goals and favorite hobbies keep you fulfilled with endless joy and laughter. Your wonderful spirit will carry on through the SOCOMI culture you have helped build!
