Employee Spotlight

Tom Conrad

We are proud to celebrate Tom Conrad and his incredible career spanning nearly three decades in the plywood industry!

Tom began his journey in 1975 at the veneer green chain when the company was still known as Brookings Plywood. Over the years, he built a remarkable legacy of dedication, skill, and reliability, making significant contributions across nearly every facet of plywood production.

Tom’s career is a testament to his adaptability and commitment. From the green chain, he transitioned to working on the Skoogs, then advanced to the lay-up area, presses, patch line, and finish end.

The company has been incredibly fortunate to benefit from Tom’s expertise and loyalty. As he embarks on this next chapter, Tom looks forward to a well-earned change of pace. His retirement plans include spending time with his wife, tackling remodeling projects at home, and enjoying camping trips upriver.

Thank you, Tom, for your decades of dedication and outstanding contributions to our team. We wish you nothing but the best in your retirement!
