Located in Brookings, Oregon, South Coast Lumber Co. & Affiliates are affiliated by common ownership and management. All three companies are separate corporations, incorporated in Oregon, and each uses the registered trade name SOCOMI, which stands for South Coast Milling.

South Coast Lumber Co. & Affiliates manufactures veneer, plywood, plywood specialties, laminated veneer lumber (LVL) for industrial applications, lumber, studs, chips and other byproducts. Plywood specialties include siding, sanded plywood, laminated plywood products and concrete forms. These products are manufactured primarily from Douglas fir and are shipped to domestic wholesalers and foreign exporters.

Collectively, South Coast Lumber Co. & Affiliates is the largest employer in Curry County, employing approximately 490 people. The Company was founded in the 1950s.
